I personally don’t want to setup 1-minute checks. It’s a bit excessive from my point of view and overall need. I tend to go with 5 minute or 10-minute checks. However, once a site is down, I want to know ASAP when the site is back up for sure and that Uptime is actually seeing it as up. This is especially important in the middle of the night or on off hours. I want to move on or go back to sleep as soon as possible.
I would like the ability to have my tests run on a different schedule once a failure is triggered. So, I would like to set my checks every 1 or 2 minutes on failure and then resume every 10 minutes once the check is good again.
Today the only option I have is 1-minute checks all the time. This is unnecessary overhead on uptime’s systems and mine. I’d prefer those 1 min checks only in the infrequent event the check is failing.
