API Hit Limits

It would be good to be able to know how many hits we’ve had to an api, in regards to reaching rate limits. Could fields be added to existing api’s to incidcate current hit counts? Optionally a separate api to indicate those hit counts would also work. For example a field indicating this is hit “32 of 60” for the minute rate limit, and another field indicating “394 of 500” for the hourly rate limit (just random numbers for example purposes).
