When scheduling a future maintenance window for a Status Page, there is now an option to send an automated notification email to subscribers when the maintenance window starts.

Check the “Send automated notification to subscribers when this Scheduled Maintenance starts” box to have your subscribers receive the email when the maintenance window begins:
