It is now possible to secure access to a publicly available status page via External User login credentials or a SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) Identity Provider application.

External users can be invited via email to create an Uptime portal login to access an individual status page. Invited users are managed from within the specific status page’s settings in the External User tab.

For accounts with SSO enabled, status pages can also be configured to have their access managed by a separate external SAML SSO Identity Provider application or profile. Status page access via SAML SSO is independent of the main account and any other status pages, and each access must be configured with separate applications within the Identity Provider.
