A new option has been added to ensure that users who are manually added as subscribers to a Status Page – whether through API or manual import – will receive the appropriate Status Page notifications.

To enable this, use the Allow existing or manually added subscribers to be notified checkbox when editing the Global Settings for a Status Page:

Note that this box is checked by default. When disabled, only subscribers who have opted in through the Status Page subscription form will receive notifications.
